"Before the playground
here at St. Ambrose, our students considered the asphalt plat
with a fence around it their playground. Although it was
pretty stark, it was used gratefully by the 310 students, aged
kindergarten to 8th grade.
Robert Palmer
and Mark Driver from Ascend Sports Marketing, John Fortunato
from GAA Builders partnered with Nick Riggio, attorney at law,
the friends of St. Ambrose and I to make this playground
project possible. The construction was completed late
Fall 2009 and the St. Ambrose students will continue to enjoy
it probably until there's snow covering the ground! And
now, instead of sitting in the cafeteria, the 30-45 children
in the St. Ambrose After Care program can go outside and play
freely.
I am grateful to Fortunato,
Driver and Palmer for their efforts in order to provide a safe
and fun place for the kids at St. Ambrose.
GAA Builders and Ascend
Sports Marketing would be glad to assist other schools in the
Archdiocese with building or renovating playgrounds for their
students in order to provide a safe and fun place to
play. Please contact Mark Driver or Robert Palmer at
(314) 771-0441 or John Fortunato at (314) 713-2551 to discuss
details. They were clean and efficient workmen, and come
highly recommended."

"Robert
Palmer and Mark Driver from Ascend Sports Marketing, and John
Fortunato from GAA Builders partnered with St. Roch Parish to
make our playground project possible. The construction was
completed in September 2009, and now our students have a fun
and safe area in which to play.
GAA Builders and Ascend
Sports Marketing would be glad to assist other schools in the
Archdiocese with building or renovating playgrounds to provide
a fun and safe place to play. The materials used for the
new playground flooring are environmentally friendly.
You can reach Mark Driver or
Robert Palmer at 314.771.0441 or John Fortunato at
314.713.2551 to discuss details. Their staff is
hard-working, efficient, and kept the area neat and clean
while revamping the old play yard. Because of inclement
weather, they worked weekends to try to get the job done as
quickly as possible."

"This letter is both a
testimony and statement regarding our business relationship
with John Fortunato & GAA Builders/Investors. For
the past year, we have worked with Mr. Fortunato in the
development of our new home construction business contracting
his services as Construction Manager for EcoUrban Construction
Company, LLC building eco-friendly, infill, new construction
in the City of St. Louis as
EcoUrban Homes. We
purchase real estate, both vacant and occupied, and utilize
his experience in modular building and new construction to
improve these scattered site parcels into single family fee
simple homes and townhomes priced between $200,000 and
$400,000. We act as general contractor, carrying our own
liability insurance and builder's risk policies and employ GAA
Builders/Investors to manage the day-to-day execution of
project development, negotiate estimates, collect Certificate
of Insurance from selected contractors and collect final lien
waivers as we work toward obtaining an occupancy permit for
the new residence. The
time and effort that Mr. Fortunato has spent supporting our
work goes above and beyond the scope of his contract.
Work is done on time, under budget and without need for
contractor callbacks. GAA Builders/Investors simply gets
the job right the first time. We
intend to continue our relationship with John Fortunato and
GAA Builders/Investors as we expand our development work
throughout all areas of St. Louis City and County and are
pleased with their dedication to our common vision of
developing urban neighborhoods through the construction of
new, ecologically-sensitive homes." Sincerely,

Jay Swoboda, Principal
EcoUrban Homes
